The first day…

You cannot come to Cernobbio without seeing the lake — from the lake! That’s why we invite you and read the itinerary we proposed to our guests of a day.

On the second day, or in the case of less clement weather, you can spend a day in Como. Also for this experience we refer you to the itinerary we proposed to our guests of one day.

If you prefer to use your car for a lake trip, stop in Ossuccio, for a visit to the Comacina Island, which can be reached in a few minutes by taxi-boat. You can visit the island comfortably on foot through paths that draw its perimeter. There are remains of Romanesque churches on the island and an existing church named after St. John the Baptist. The island is the site of spectacular fireworks on the evening of St. John’s Day (June 24), attracting thousands of people by land and lake.

Continue on to Lenno, where a visit to the Villa del Balbianello, on a promontory that stands out against the panorama of the center of the lake.

You then reach Tremezzo to visit Villa Carlotta. Less than a kilometer away, the ferry will take you to the other shore, to Bellagio. From here, you can take the coastal route down to Como, stopping at the Villa Geno “Juliet by the Lake” Lido, where the sun sets late, giving you a chance for a refreshing swim, before returning to the Corte di Zizi.
