The first four days…
For the first four days, we refer you to the proposals already made: our apartments in Cernobbio are the ideal base for the itineraries we have suggested!
The fifth day
You may choose to spend the last day relaxing, lying in the sun at one of the beaches or lidos overlooking the shores of Lake Como and end the day perhaps with a nice dinner and a drink in the courtyard of our vacation home.
OR
You can devote the day to a nice walk chosen from those recounted by our friend Anna.
OR
You can make La Corte di Zizi the starting point for a city tour.

Lugano which is easily reached either by car or train in about half an hour from Como S.Giovanni Station.
Monza, reachable in about half an hour always from Como S.Giovanni, and visit the Villa Reale and the park, which in addition to being a destination for walking and biking, is often the site of interesting events for the whole family.
OR
If you like the mountains and the summer is particularly hot, our vacation homes are very close to the Swiss border. An interesting destination might be the Monte Generoso… On the way back a little shopping at the Fox Town, an outlet where you can find the most prestigious brands of Italian and world fashion and design.

Always for mountain lovers, but not necessarily great walkers, we propose a trip to the Alps with the famous Bernina train, a UNESCO heritage site. It is a stupendous experience, both in winter, when the blue of the sky is reflected in the white of the snow, and in summer, when the white of the glaciers is reached from verdant fields and pine forests. The little train slowly ascends to 2253 m, then descends back to St. Moritz. The departure station is in Tirano, which can be reached by car in just over two hours from Cernobbio. The scenic train in about two hours of will take you to St. Moritz, a famous resort town, which is definitely worth a visit. If you have two days to spare, on the way back you can stop for one night in Tirano, and visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Tirano and Palazzo Salis, not forgetting to refresh yourself with a typical Valtellina dish: pizzoccheri, made with buckwheat pasta and local cheeses. From Tirano you can reach Bormio, for a relaxing day at the spa.
